I graduated from Lake George High School in 1985. Basketball would take up a majority of my time along with motor cross, ice fishing, hiking and camping and bike riding. I found the sport of racquetball my first year of college and it became my new obsession. I worked three jobs to get through College including Foot Locker, life guard and construction. At the same time, I became a sponsored player for Spaulding Professional Racquet Sports and made my way up in the ranks to # 16th in New York State. Then I Signed on with Team Ektelon, # 1 name in racquetball, for the past 8 years. I graduated from ACC with an applied Science and minor in marketing degree.
I met my wife Cheryl at the Adirondack Nautilus. I was Nautilus supervisor and head Racquetball Pro. The following year we established Fitness In Motion. The first year was training people at their home which turned into finding a place to rent and training people in a small group in 1995. In 1997 my son Dylan was born and Austin in 2001. Both are very active, of course and love basketball, racquetball, baseball, cycling and oh yeah, the Wii.
For my 5 ½ years at Adirondack Nautilus I trained approximately 2000 people on the circuits. Up to this point I have successfully trained an additional 375 clients. Smaller number because of the much lower turnover rate with my concepts. We also have established a very successful indoor cycle program called Cycle Energy which gives a unique mind body experience . I am currently competing in the Lake George Triathlon and racquetball tournaments during each season. Cheryl does an incredable job helping to manage the business from training to book keeping. She brings great energy to the training facility and has much to do with the success of our great business. Cheryl makes outstanding efforts to make sure that all the clients are getting plenty of attention to get to their goals each day.
